Rusnak - Westinghouse's DeAndre Thomas headlined this year's
annual 20-player all-area team selected Friday by the Chicago
Sun-Times as its player of the year. The 6'7" senior helped
Westinghouse to its second straight Chicago Public League title while
averaging 21 points and 12 rebounds for the 27-3 Warriors.
Other players up for consideration for player of the year by the
Sun-Times were Homewood-Flossmoor's Julian Wright, Hillcrest's
Jerel McNeal and St. Joseph's Tony Freeman.
